- Driving the new technology deployment, and local contact for die-casting process
- Developing the Die-casting process for the new product
- Optimize die-casting process and work together with tooling team for mould optimization
- Educate people in die-casting workshop; build up needed technical level in workshop
Key Accountabilities
Impact on Business
l Establish the die-casting Automation production cell.
l Work with mould flow software to evaluate the technical feasibility for complex parts and moulds.
l Lift the technical capability to meet the requirement for complex parts and automation production.
l Develop the new product process regarding the mould design, process flow, equipment, fixture, parameters.
l Identify and eliminate the big loss in die-casting process with team.
l Budget for new projects such as production equipment, tools and so on.
l Prepare the technical specification for new equipments such as die-casting machines, robots and so on.
l Standardize the die-casting process requirements and mould technical specification.
Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties
Frequently review with the production team about the technical solutions and process optimization.
Occasionally organize meetings to discuss about die-casting new projects.
Continuously work with the die-casting expert from HQ.
Infrequently Communicate with GTSC and HQ Engineering about the technical development in GPC JN.
Innovation and Change
l Apply new technology to die-casting process such as vacuum die-casting.
l Work with the team to realize the technology competence roadmap.
People Leadership
Train the process engineer and quality engineer with die-casting technology.
Requirements:
· Bachelor or higher in technology.
· Engineering degree in mechanical, metallurgical technology, metal form or casting.
· 5-7 of relevant business experience in aluminium die casting.
· Be familiar with die casting Automatic production.
· Good experience in mould flow analysis.
· Extensive practical knowledge of tool design, die casting process, die-casting machine.
· Good at cooperation and communication in team work.
