SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:

· Standardize the assembly process including equipment, tools and documentation;

· Provide technology expertise to VS, support improvement activities and new process development;

· Represent the M&L function within the Blue Box team

· Is accountable to deliver all M&L related activities to achieve quality, cost, delivery and productivity according to project targets

• New product launches

• Integration of M&L related changes

· Ensure production process is fully aligned with Lean methodology;

· Process engineer team competencies training and development;

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Set standard of production equipment and drive new generation process innovation

· Relationship maintain with equipment vendors

· Provide expertise proposal for all lines including existing lines and new launched lines

· Engineer training / mentoring and development

· Work closely with PD to help DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

· Leverage knowledge from ISC Group Manufacturing Technology (GMT) team and site LPO.

· Capex Management for launched projects.

· Manage launch& stabilization, ensuring all M&L roadmap tasks (Logistics, quality, Indirect material) are followed and logical timing allocated

· Usage of standard tools to support task execution ( MSD, MSA, Declarations, Capacity planning, Investment guideline, Equipment design/Specification guideline)

· Develop process documentation PFMEA, Control plan, Std work instruction

· Incorporate lesson learnt into project tasks and use lesson learnt during project execution

· Ensure timely reporting of M&L project KPI and status in M&L Visual dashboard

· Ensure timely escalation and use of Red Box

· Escalates in BB DRM any manufacturing deviation from QCDP

EXPERIENCE:

· 5+ Yrs process/ manufacturing technology experience

· Assembly process design with Lean methodology

PROFILE:

Mandatory

· Engineering Graduate (ME,EE)

· University Graduated

· Good English

· Familiar with TS quality tools, e.g. FMEA

Preferable

· Six Sigma Lean exposure

METRICS:

· Process line with Lean concept

· Engineer training development

· Level of line standardization

· Project launch in line with QCDP target
