Major Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a strategy to ensure an on-going operational excellence from the supply base, that delivers purchased parts in the requested volume, quality, timing, and at the best cost, all along the program life, including service parts
2. Link & leverage current and new businesses, within all PBU/division counterparts & the category team
3. Early communicate/negotiate with supplier Delphi’s expectations for quality, logistics, cost management, supplier suggestion program, lean manufacturing development
4. Responsible for all the Direct Material related PO process
5. Understand the commodity market price, technical innovation etc.
6. Understand/Negotiate cost impact related to design change
7. Follow all GSM related policy/procedure: DSPA, SPDP etc.
8. Serve as the primary liaison between manufacturing and the supplier
9. Support the plans, material cost reduction goals and buyer business plans.
10. Manage GSM risk to avoid line shut down or project delay

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree in engineering
2. 3 years above working experience in purchasing Dep. In a worldwide company
3. Expert in negotiation skill
4. Strong problem solving skill (5 Why, root cause analysis etc.)
5. Strong leadership and communication skill
6. Good English communication skill
