Job Description
工作职责:
1.Purchasing – Ensure qualified suppliers are selected to provide supplies and services required to optimize the results of key capital projects, supply chain optimization and strong financial results. Use superior analytical skills to understand complex projects and proposals and leverage maximum purchasing benefits.
2.Supply Chain/Planning – Support a steady and consistent flow of raw materials and finished goods in support of the customers’ requirements. Coordinate with the logistics and planning functions to minimize working capital and optimize customer deliveries.
3.Cost-Meet or exceed cost and working capital objectives. Use strong negotiation skills in a competitive bid environment to reduce cost. Negotiate formal contracts that minimize supply chain risk and maximize flexibility for the system.
4.Control – Utilize recognized processes and procedures to ensure strong financial control and security. Ensure all required regulatory standards and reporting requirements are met.
5.Quality – Along with the quality function, evaluate and counsel suppliers in their ability to meet quality standards. Identify and eliminate problems before and as they occur using the corporate values of Lean, Six Sigma, Fairness, Customer Concern and Rapid Response. Use Agreed to metrics to manage critical suppliers performance.
6.Supervision – Ensure the purchasing function is properly staffed and trained. Use Teambuilding, Training, KPI’s, Communication and Problem Solving strategies to ensure effective business management with the other SPJAG operating departments.
7.Corporate Oversight – Report indirectly to the Purchasing functions of the parent companies for overall strategy and guidance. Ensure timely utilization of corporate standards and practices, and reporting of local results.
8.Strategy – Participate with the local leadership in planning and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure long-term viability .
任职要求:
Skills/Qualifications: Must have working knowledge in the following areas; OEM manufacturing and/or Aftermarket operations, proficiency in all local and regional statutory policies related to conducting business transactions and contracts. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Analytical skills must be strong and the use of analytical software such as EXCEL and ERP Systems is a must. This person must be assertive and have strong negotiating skills. The ability to handle multiple projects at multiple stages will be a steady demand. The ability to provide concise executive summary of complex details will be called on regularly.
Strong negotiation and formal contract management skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, can work well under pressure, understands the importance of time management and meeting deadlines, has strong problem solving skills, and is a team player.
Minimum educational /skills required: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Supply Chain or Logistics.
Minimum experience required: 7 years’ experience in a Purchasing related position within a Chinese manufacturing operation.
