Preventative Maintenance Programs
· Construct and implement an appropriate Preventative Maintenance Program that results in minimum equipment downtime
· Ensures required checks are carried out as and when required by the Preventative Maintenance Program
· Carries out major inspections and corrects any issues found during these inspections
· Continuously refines Preventative Maintenance Programs to ensure the right level of balance is being achieved between inspections and equipment reliability.
· Coordinates visits from NZ based support staff. Prioritises visit task list and arranges access to the equipment around production constants.
Continuous improvement
· Is able to accurately analyse the root cause of repeat equipment breakdowns
· Makes suggestions for equipment modifications to correct regular faults
· Carries out minor modifications to equipment
· Coordinates with external assistance for relatively major equipment modifications.
Urgent equipment fault correction (on-call and/or on-site)
· Responds quickly to urgent requests for assistance from the line operators.
· Is able to quickly diagnose and correct equipment faults in conjunction with Control System support if required.
· Coordinates external assistance if required
· Communicates progress with fault correction with line and factory management
· Manages client expectations

5 years experience in similar level role maintaining high technology special purpose equipment (post trade certification).
Has experience interpreting engineering drawings
Has strong knowledge of electrical and control systems
Has strong understanding of basic Hydraulics and Pneumatics and electrical devices
Can demonstrate trouble shooting and practical problem solving in previous roles
