Job Description

Position Purpose
Lead the process of developing market's marketing strategy & plan and the process of
implementing national & market marketing strategy & plan that profitably builds sales,
transactions and market share and strengthens McDonald’s brand position in the local
market. Key customers include MCCL management, MCCL marketing function, VPGM,
market GM, FSM, agencies, key suppliers, market staff and restaurant management.
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities
include, but are not limited to:
Marketing Strategy & Plan Development & Implementation
 Develop annual marketing strategy and plan in align with national marketing strategy
& plan to achieve annual market business goals
 Lead the development of localized Store Brief by promotion with supplementary
activities
 Assist market operations to conduct quarterly NABIT store brief communication with
OC and Seed-Stores
 Manage marketing plan execution including engaging local LSM team to execute
promotion and supplementary activities, managing localized production of certain
POP, conducting store visit with execution report, recap of launch, following up with
improvement, weekly reports on results of promotion, etc.
 Maximize success of the system plan by ensuring market management team’s
understanding and by providing continuous input and feedback to national
marketing team
Policies & Procedures Management
 Lead market marketing team to support national marketing policies, procedures, and
tools optimization
 Take measures such as training and auditing to ensure national policies and
procedures are well communicated, understood and executed in local market
 Ensure the proper use of the McDonald’s trademarks, logos, producer’s licenses, and
makes sure all advertising materials have legal and creative approval
Agency Management
 Lead the process for development and execution of local creative (TV, radio,
outdoor, print, and restaurant merchandising, etc.) in accordance with national
creative standards
 Develop relationships with strategic business partners (outside suppliers, RMHC,
Distribution Centers, etc.)
 Support PR in managing local media relations and crisis management
People/Team
 Select, develop and coach, motivate marketing staff to create an effective local
Marketing team and to develop them for future opportunities within the system
 Build strong relationships and foster teamwork among MCCL, market functions,

Agencies, Suppliers and Staff to achieve maximum performance
